The Kingway Forest is a wooded 1.5 acre site right next door to the Kingway Apartments, a 165-unit affordable housing complex. SDCI has approved this forest's removal.

Plans have been filed to remove a 120-year old Giant Sequoia for a driveway. This tree is one of roughly only 200 mature giant sequoias left in Seattle’s neighborhoods.
