We are holding a Gratitude Gathering to celebrate and fight for two exceptional Douglas Firs located at 4134 SW Southern St in West Seattle.

These two Firs are slated for cutting this week, and they are in the territory of West Seattle’s only nesting pair of Merlins.

As humanity deals with the double whammy of the climate crisis coupled with biodiversity collapse, we cannot afford to cut down mature, native members of our urban forest that simultaneously provide shade and cooling to human neighbors and precious habitat to our region’s wildlife.
