We’re standing up for one of the last forests on MLK Way. Plans have been filed to cut 124 trees and pave two wetlands, leaving no green space for this Rainier Valley neighborhood that has already become an urban heat island. We’re distributing flyers to raise community awareness and to ask for housing that includes trees.
