Help us stand up for healthy native trees in the Barrett Lane Forest.
Plans to develop this lot at 3947 West Barrett Lane show 70+ trees may be removed for the 11 homes. 12 of the trees grow along the public entrance road — which means they are owned by the people of Seattle, and the developer should not have the right to remove them.
Most of this forest is designated an Environmentally Critical Area. The tree groves provide shade, absorb stormwater, and are an important resting spot for eagles, hawks and owls.
